Avoiding FOMO On Paleo

Everyone has experienced a bit of FOMO when it comes to eating healthy.

Watching everyone else eat pizza while you have a sad antipasto salad.

(this is exactly why I don’t often go to restaurants that have only 1 paleo-friendly option — it’s my own personal torture chamber to watch everyone around me eat bread)

Managing my FOMO has been key to succeeding at a steady Paleo diet.

The recipes I share on BRG are the result of my own personal mission to make the food I eat taste so dang amazing that I don’t care about what I’m missing out on.

If you follow me on Snapchat, you saw me put together my favorite dinner this week: grilled shrimp wrapped in bacon with a slice of pickled jalapeno.

Was I thinking about bread while the spicy, smoky, juicy shrimp was melting in my mouth?

Of course not!

FOMO is all about managing your exposure.

How often are you exposed to delicious Paleo meals vs. how often are you exposed to tempting food you’ve resolved to avoid?

If you can up the first and decrease the second, you’ll be in that golden spot where willpower and satisfaction drive you like a downhill snowball gathering speed.
